Despite being born in Canada, I left in 2010, and am now a British-American dual-citizen. I attained American citizenship through marriage and British by descent.
When I was growing up, everyone I knew was a straight, white Christian and phones were still connected to the wall with a wire. People would argue about facts because there was no internet to look them up on.
